Winch Lines
The winch is a mechanical device used for pulling or lifting, and line is the connection between that which is being pulled or lifted, and the winch.

These come in 3 different options
Gannet Braid. Correctly sized for your winch this is a great, easy to splice, incredibly abrasion resistant line.
Gannet BOB, Braid on Braid. This has the standard 12 strand UHMWPE core for maximum strength, with a tightly braided UHMWPE cover for tremendous abrasion resistance. This is the stiffest of the 3 options, behaving more like steel wire on the winch. You cannot splice this line.
Standard 12 strand UHMWPE. This is the strongest option for any given diameter. While it is stronger than the 2 options above, it is more prone to abrasion than those above. This rope is easy to splice.

When ordering the Gannet Braid on Braid, you have to specify how long you want it, and the detailed of the “eye” you want.
*They can be ordered to any length to any length of eye, but you cannot change the eye yourself because you cannot splice it.
